Is Countra hard to use?

Not at all. Countra was designed to feel familiar, especially for teams used to pen and paper. Most clinics are up and running in under an hour, with minimal training. If you can fill out a form on a tablet, you can use Countra.

Do I need special hardware?

No new hardware is required. Countra works with devices you already have. Clinics typically use a smartphone or tablet for logging and a web-based dashboard for administrative access. There’s no expensive hardware or complicated setup.

How do I transfer existing logbook info?

We’ll walk you through it. During onboarding, your team will do a quick inventory count to establish a starting point. From there, everything is digital. No manual data entry, just a clean switch from paper to the Countra platform.

What happens if I lose the internet?   

Countra requires internet connectivity to function, just like many modern systems. If your Wi-Fi ever goes down, you can temporarily switch back to a paper log and update the system later. Internet outages are rare—and we’re here to support you if they happen.

Is Countra HIPAA compliant?

 How do I know somebody can’t change the records?
